CNAs held the 9th National Conference on Accreditation of conformity assessment institutions

On December 22, 2020, China National Accreditation Commission for conformity assessment (CNAs) held the 9th National Conference on Accreditation of conformity assessment institutions. Liu Weijun, director of the certification and supervision department of the State Administration of market supervision, and Dong Lequn, director of the accreditation and testing department, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Xiao Jianhua, Secretary General of CNAs, made a work report. The meeting was chaired by Wang Shizhong, Deputy Secretary General of CNAs.

Xiao Jianhua, Secretary General of CNAs, made a work report, reviewed the accreditation work in the 13th five year plan and 2020, informed the development of international accreditation, and introduced the main ideas for the development of accreditation work in China during the 14th Five Year Plan period. He proposed that in 2021, the accreditation work will fully implement the deployment of the State Administration of market supervision, continuously strengthen the construction of accreditation system, accreditation technical support, accreditation deepening reform, accreditation international cooperation and accreditation self construction.

Dong Lequn fully affirmed the achievements of the accreditation work in 2020, and hoped that the accreditation work should accurately grasp the new requirements of high-quality development, new development pattern and high-standard market system construction during the "14th five year plan" period, and earnestly fulfill the accreditation mission; Deeply cultivate basic technology, serve systematic supervision, strengthen mutual recognition cooperation, strengthen strategic research, and constantly improve the credibility, support, influence and foresight of recognition.

Liu Weijun pointed out that in recent years, the status and role of accreditation have become more prominent, and China's accreditation is in the forefront of the world. China Accreditation has played a positive role in the effective development of China's quality certification, promoted the improvement of certification ability, standardized implementation and international mutual recognition, and supported the administrative supervision of certification. It is hoped that the accreditation work will adhere to the problem orientation, goal orientation, supply and demand orientation and result orientation, provide stronger technical support for the development of quality certification in China, and jointly promote the cause of quality certification to a new level.

With the theme of "drawing a new blueprint based on new development", the 9th National Conference on Accreditation of conformity assessment institutions focused on the new development of accreditation in the new development stage and planned a good start of accreditation in the 14th five year plan. This year's annual Accreditation Conference was held in the form of video conference for the first time. At the same time, special topics of certification institutions, laboratories and inspection institutions were organized, which attracted more than 150000 viewers to watch online. The annual Accreditation Conference has been held for eight times, which has built a bridge to promote the new development of accreditation and further improve the accreditation service level.
